#JusticeForMohbad: Trending video of the moment Naira Marley was arrested by the Nigerian Police (Watch Video)

A video showing the moment popular Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley was arrested by the Nigerian Police has surfaced online and by extension sparked reactions online.

Recall Intel Region reported that Naira Marley, the “Soapy” crooner has been arrested in connection with the death of his former signee Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad.

This comes after Naira Marley took to his verified account on X formerly called Twitter and made it known to all and sundry that he is back in Lagos, Nigeria.

He wrote; “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”

Reacting to this, Nigerian police PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirms the arrest. He wrote;

“Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities…”

Confirming the whole arrest, a video of Naira Marley fully masked as he is been arrested and taken into police custody for investigation has surfaced online.
