Former Super Eagles player, Emmanuel Emenike, is raising a ruckus over the bulldozer blitz executed by the Lagos State government, leaving some Igbo residents in the state high and dry.

Last week, the Lagos State government commenced the demolition exercise of illegal structures built on canals and waterways along the Gedegede – Mobil road – Megamound Estate – Ikota drainage channels.

The Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources noted a need to implement the demolition exercise to stop the reoccurring erosion and flooding in the environment.

Multimillion naira properties were brought down during the demolition exercise supervised by the Operatives Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources.

He asserted that they had secured approval from the very Lagos State Government that ultimately razed their properties to the ground.

Emenike didn’t hold back, characterizing this action as a glaring example of wickedness in its purest form.

With genuine concern for his fellow Igbo brethren living in the state, he offered prudent advice, encouraging them to repatriate their investments to the safety of their eastern roots, specifically naming states like Abia, Imo, Anambra, Enugu, and Ebonyi as secure destinations.

He wrote;

“THE SADNESS IS TOO MUCH AFTER GETTING APPROVAL FROM THE SAME LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT, THIS IS PURE WICKEDNESS.

“IGBOS ARE IN TROUBLE, BRING YOUR INVESTMENT BACK HOME MY PEOPLE WE HAVE, ABIA STATE, IMO STATE, ANAMBRA STATE, ENUGU STATE AND EBONYI STATE.
