Naira Marley visits NDLEA Chairman, declares support for war against drug abuse
Controversial Nigerian rapper, Azeez Fashola also known as Naira Marley, on Thursday, paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA), Brig.-Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa.
According to a statement by NDLEA through its official Twitter account, saying the Marlian Music record founder declared support for the war against drug abuse.
Photos shared on the microblogging platform by the agency, shows Naira Marley with Marwa and a cross section of people at the National Headquarters.

Other persons in the photo include NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi and members of Naira Marley’s team; Sam Larry, Dami Marshal and Chuddy Naira.
The tweet reads;

The music star’s visit stirred controversy on social media, particularly because he is known as a chronic smoker and also has a case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over alleged fraud.
Reacting, @OlorogunErnest; Nigeria is indeed a very confusing & complicated Nation. How can Naira Marley who consistently promotes use of drugs and other immoral substances be visiting NDLEA to pledge support for fight against use of drugs. Perhaps NDLEA can just go ahead and make him an ambassador. Strange & crazy Nation!
