Elon Musk unveils Linda Yaccarino as new CEO of Twitter
Twitter owner Elon Musk has announced Linda Yaccarino as the new Chief Executive Officer of the microblogging platform..
He made the announcement on Friday via his verified Twitter handle.
The announcement came barely 24 hours after he disclosed that he had hired a new female CEO for the platform.
Musk said the new CEO will “focus primarily on business operations.”
He said he will now serve as the platform’s executive chairman and CTO, adding that he will oversee product design and new technology.
