Reactions Trail As Results On INEC Portal Shows That Tinubu Didn’t Win, But Obi Won 2023 Election In Rivers

According to INEC Results Viewer (IREV) results, Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi won the presidential election held on February 25 in Obio/Akpor Regional Government District of Rivers State in South-South Nigeria.

Despite what INEC has claimed, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, not Bola Tinubu, appears to have won the Obi Rivers presidential election based on the number of votes cast.

PREMIUM TIMES investigated the results of various polling stations in the 17 districts of Obio/Akpor LGA uploaded on IReV and there were significant differences with the results announced by INEC.

APC received 17,158 votes and LP received 73,311 votes.

In Rumuokoro County, it was discovered that the results originally written for LP in 34 polling stations have been removed and replaced with APC results.

Despite obvious improvements and changes, PREMIUM TIMES lists the data provided by INEC. In other words, the sum of the numbers is exactly as shown in the results table, even though there is evidence that the numbers are falsified.

This sparked debate online with many claiming that Peter Obi had indeed won Rivers State.
