IMSU lecturer tagged ‘woman beater’ for slapping alleged pregnant student for late-coming (Video below)
A lecturer at the Imo state University (IMSU), Dr. Desmond Izunwanne, has been called out by students for allegedly assaulting their female colleague.
It was gathered that man, who is in the Medical Laboratory department, slapped the lady said to be in the early stages of pregnancy, because she arrived late for his lecture.
A video which surfaced online captured the moment the incident ocurred in class after the student explained to him that she had visited the hospital just before the lecture.
Dr. Desmond, however, disregarded her explanation and proceeded to slap her multiple times asking her, “what’s your reason for coming to class late?”.
The lecturer while dishing out punishment to her, also asked the lady why she was on mufti and told her to kneel down.
Students at the Institution labeled him a woman beater and claimed that it was not the first time Dr. Desmond was engaging in such act.
