A suspected kidnapper, Haruna Musa, has lamented that he wasted his share of two million naira which he realised from kidnapping.

The 28-year-old Adamawa Indigene told newsmen on Thursday that he squandered all the money without buying anything of value.

Musa from Farang in Fufore Local Government Area was among nine suspects apprehended and paraded at the Adamawa State Police Headquarters in Yola.

“I participated in one operation where my other colleagues and I abducted one Shuaibu of Malabu, but I didn’t kill anyone,” he said.

Police spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, said the suspects were arrested by operatives of the command attached to Crack Squad.

“They were apprehended by the police in collaboration with local hunters from Gombi LGA,” Nguroje said.

He added that Commissioner of Police Afolabi Adeniyi had ordered further investigation of the suspects before arraigning them in court.
