“Somebody Who Has Not Stayed in Office For 1 Year Built A University” – This Is The Final Fight
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, remarked during the commissioning of Rumuigbo Internal Roads that he has waged his final battle, which is to put pressure on the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, to quit office, emphasizing that he owes no apologies to anyone. Wike added that Ayu is somebody who has not lasted in power for one year yet built a university.
He went on to say that the party was unable to explain how the 12 billion naira they gave was used. Wike, on the other hand, asked the people of the state to continue to support the PDP.
In his own words:
“I feel that I can encourage those whose main interest is to amass money. I can help people in places where we held congresses and raised about 12 billion naira in two months, but the money is gone. And someone who has been out of office for a year is building a university. That is something I will not support, which is why I believe this heinous criminal must be removed from power if the PDP is to be strengthened. I owe no apologies to anyone. I had stated that this will be our final battle.
Governor Wike of Rivers State stated at the Rumuigbo Internal Roads launching ceremony that he had fought his final battle to force PDP National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu to resign. Despite generating 12 billion naira in two months, the party failed to account for the funds, and Ayu built a university despite being in office for less than a year. Wike stated that he owes no apology and urged locals to continue supporting the PDP in their state.”
