“If Obi Can Win Tinubu & Gbajabiamilas’ In Lagos, How Can You Say Election Is Rigged” – Fayose Lament
Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, has quashed the claims about the just concluded 2023 general election being rigged like many parties and individuals claims.
While speaking on ARISE TV, Fayose said, “I want to stand here and tell you that this election was not rigged by any standard.”
According to him, the reasons are as follows:
He said that in 2019 election, President Muhammadu Buhari with a seating Governor polled above one million votes in his home state Katsina but this time around, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, won in that State ahead of APC.
He went further to say that Peter Obi is a phenomenon and an institution and that, “If Obi Can Win Tinubu & Gbajabiamilas’ In Lagos, How Can You Say Election Is Rigged.”
Fayose also said that Peter Obi has proven that things are no longer as it used to be as a result of his victory in Lagos State.
