FBI, NYPD and Secret Service preparing for potential Trump indictment as early as next week
Security preparations are currently underway by state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies in the event that Donald Trump is indicted as soon as early next week..
NBC News Senior legal correspondent Laura Jarrett reports the NYPD, FBI, and Secret Service are all on alert, well aware that the disgraced former President’s supporters may create hostile crowd situations.
Trump is facing multiple legal situations in New York, Fulton County, GA, and in Washington DC.
Meanwhile according to Donald Trump’s lawyer, Donald Trump will not refuse to surrender if the Manhattan district attorney criminally indicts him, his lawyer Joe Tacopina said today. “There won’t be a standoff at Mar-a-Lago with Secret Service and the Manhattan DA’s office.”
