Ed Sheeran Breaks Down as He Opens Up on His Wife’s Battle with Tumour

Singer Ed Sheeran has given fans a sneak peek of his tell-all documentary. The award-winning star broke down in the trailer of his documentary dubbed The Sum Of It All. The singer, 32, will be taking his fans through the highs and lows in his life in his rise to global stardom.

Starting Wednesday, May 3, Disney+ will broadcast the four-part docuseries. Sheeran, nicknamed Ginger Head because of the colour of his red hair, could not hold back his tear as he addressed his wife Cherry Seaborn’s diagnosis with a tumour that could not be treated until she gave birth.

The docuseries captures the beautiful moments Sheeran and Seaborn are out on dates, with the singer stating everything in his life got better when he met her. His description of his best friend Jamal Edwards, who took his own life, worsened Sheeran’s emotional moments. According to Daily Mail, the musician in a clip is seen crying during a performance on stage, and his wife is heard saying:

“I’ve never seen him cry on stage.” Adding: “He hasn’t had the time to process and be at peace with his thoughts.” Sheeran’s 1st child On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, Legit.ng reported that childhood friends Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn were expecting their first child together.

The news came exactly nine months after the Beautiful People hitmaker revealed he was taking a break from creating music and social media. The couple has been married for five years now but met during their school-going days. Sheeran got an ambitious tattoo with five Olympic-like rings which were to be filled by his future offspring, and he’s already committing to his dream.
