Naira scarcity: Bankers run for their lives as angry Nigerians storm bank (Video)
As Naira notes hits harder, angry Nigerians have forcefully gained their entrance into a bank to protest as bankers ran for their lives.
On Wednesday, February, 15th, Nigerians stormed street to protest at different part of the country. Some protests were done peacefully, while places like Imo state ended up with brutal actions as people attacks banks in their premises.
In a video making the rounds online, A lady’s voice could be heard shouting Jesus as she moved the camera in a fidgety manner. People could be seen at the gate through the window she was watching from.
Seconds into the clip, other staff members were seen running for their lives as they tried to get themselves to safety.
The video generated massive reactions as social media users trooped to comment section.
Many revealed that people are venting their angers on the bankers because of the ongoing scarcity of Naira notes.
