University Student Impregnates A Lecturer, Check Out School’s Response

A male student at the Federal University in Lafia, which is the capital of Nasarawa State and in the northern part of Nigeria, is said to have gotten one of his female professors pregnant.

The report said that the student, whose name was only given as “Kelvin,” was a student in the school’s Computer Science Department.

At the time this report was made, the school had not responded to the news that Kevin had been kicked out.

It was said that the act was immoral and promiscuous, so it is likely that the university’s disciplinary board made the decision.

Many people don’t agree with what the school’s leaders did. They said it was a romance that both people wanted.

The move was made by the woman speaker. In another report, Kevin was quoted as saying that he and his professor had an agreement between them.

He is said to have said that the woman lecturer had threatened him more than once if he turned down her advances.

He also said that the female lecturer started the relationship. At the time this report was written, the name of the lecturer had not been made public. The student also admitted that he had slept with the professor many times, including in her office in the administration building.

There is a lot of sex for grades going on in Nigerian colleges and universities, especially between male teachers and female undergraduate students.

Some university teachers lost their jobs recently because their female students said they had been sexually harassed by them.

School Management Response

In the meantime, the report has been disproven by the management of Federal University Lafia (FULafia) in Nasarawa state.

Abubakar Ibrahim, who is in charge of the university’s information and public relations, said that the report was not true.

In a speech, he said:

“The Management of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has been made aware of a story that has gone viral on social media. The story says that “Kelvin,” who is said to be a student in FULafia’s Computer Science Department, has gotten a lecturer pregnant.

He said, “This story couldn’t be more different from a lie. So, the management wants to make it clear that the story is completely made up by the writer.” He said that the report was malicious and meant to “destroy the good image and reputation of Federal University of Lafia,” since nothing like that had ever happened there.

He told the member to ignore the report, saying, “The Management of the Federal University of Lafia will continue to keep the university’s moral standards high.”
