A viral audio recording has captured an alleged 300-level student at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) bemoaning his poor performance in an exam despite studying hard.

The student who lamented to his friend via a WhatsApp audio message after the exam said he had studied a text of over 300 pages, reading chapters 1 to 12, but no question was set from it.

He claimed that the hours he spent studying were useless because no questions were set from the material he read.

With so much pain in his voice, the disappointed student accused his lecturer of being heartless.

Reacting an Instagram user wrote, “Sometimes I wonder if these lecturers really want their students to P@ss their exams, Their Aims are twisted, They probably want everyone to sort them and nothing has been done about it. It’s B@d.”

@sylviauju007, “This is really hurtful! If you have been through the oppression of the Nigerian university walls, with its poor reading /student survival conditions, you’ll understand where he’s coming from. Please someone around him should check on his mental health. It could drive into depression and who knows what’s next”.

@vickygold009, “When I got to the UK 🇬🇧 I just realised that all those lecturers for naija are from the pit of hell, them just like to dey stress person smh 🤦‍♀️ education here is very simple…them go even dey give you clue, references, pages make you go study so you no go fail….everything in that country is designed to stress someone smh.”
