“Go And Disgrace Yourself” – Igbokwe Tells Tinubu’s Critics As UK Issues Threat
The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been billed to speak at the Chatham House London.
One of Tinubu’s strong allies, Joe Igbokwe made this disclosure through a post shared on his Facebook page on Sunday, December 4.
While sending a strong warning to Tinubu’s critics against staging a protest, Igbokwe wrote;
“The incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will speak at the Chatham House London soonest and if you like go there and disgrace yourself and face the consequences.”
UK’s threat Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak has revealed steps to clamp down on illegal protesters.
On his Twitter page, Sunak tweeted:
“This afternoon I met police chiefs to make it clear that they have my full support in acting decisively to clamp down on illegal protests. “The public have had enough of this disruption and those breaking the law should expect to feel the full force of it
Right from his childhood, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been a person of elegance, cut out for great things. Tinubu is very aware of what he is capable of and the extent of influence he wields in southwest, nay, Nigerian politics. And it’s as if the former governor of Lagos state had known from his youthful days how far he will come in his political career.
Amid Chris Ngige’s delay in openly declaring his support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, some old facts about the minister of labour and employment have been dug up. On his Facebook page on Tuesday, October 18, Joe Igbokwe, one of Tinubu’s allies, went back memory lane to 2013 when Ngige was preparing for the Anambra governorship election.
Igbokwe stated that at the time, politicians like the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s presidential candidate and other party bigwigs rallied around Ngige and gave him the needed support.
