“A man who wants to be Vice-President just kicked 150 Amnesty children out of his University” – FFK Lament
Yesterday, it was reported by the Vanguard Newspaper Online that, the management of Baze University in Abuja, yesterday, denied 185 of its students opportunity to sit for their ongoing examinations, over the outstanding fees they were owing.
Information that was given made it known that, it was a lecturer in the institution, who reportedly walked out these students, despite the fact that they have been screened and allowed to write the Digital Entrepreneurship Gen 201 in the institution’s multipurpose hall.
Vanguard made it known that, the action of the private school, which is against these students, who are said to be beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme scholarship, of the federal government of Nigeria, has incurred the anger of the affected students, their colleagues, their family members and concerned members of the public.
However, while Chief Femi Fani Kayode was reacting to this today, he said that, “A man who wants to be Vice President has just kicked 150 Amnesty children out of his University because they cannot pay the fees. No compassion, no pity, no charity and no consideration for the poor.”
