Tinubu Promises 1m Jobs In First 24 Months If Elected President
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has promised to create one million jobs in the first 24 months if elected in the 2023 general election.
Otunba Femi Pedro, former Lagos deputy governor, gave the assurance on behalf of Tinubu in Abuja when he explained the manifesto of the APC flag bearer at a one-way symposium, The Nation reported.
According to Pedro, Tinubu has 12 key economic points to get Nigeria out of the current economic challenges.
Other key economic activities that Tinubu will implement if elected include:
Bringing back manufacturing companies like Dunlop that left the country many years ago Resuscitating the commodity boards Empowering women Expanding infrastructure provision Curtailing the run-away inflation.
Earlier, Edujandon.com reported that President Muhammadu Buhari expressed optimism that the APC presidential candidate, Tinubu, will win in 2023.
The president, who is currently in London, the United Kindom (UK), also explained why he believes Tinubu will win. According to him, the APC standard bearer is running on record as a two-term governor between 1999 and 2007, with verifiable achievements.
