Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, scored twice in the first half as Portugal took a 2-0 lead.
Fernandes tapped in Diogo Dalotâs cross, before stroking a penalty past Francis Uzoho.
The Super Eagles could have pulled one back at 2-0, but Emmanuel Dennis saw his poor penalty saved.
Gonzalo Ramos and Joao Mario added two more goals to seal the win for Fernando Santosâ side.
