Ooni Of Ife Has To Marry 13 More Wives Before This Deadline
An Ifa Priest is said to have revealed the reason for the Ooni of Ife’s recent marriage spree, claiming a deadline is involved just as the Ooni is about to take his seventh wife.
Earlier, it was reported that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, was planning to marry his seventh wife, Aridunu. The wedding is expected to take place on October 29th, 2022.
This is coming barely 48 hours after the revered Monarch married his sixth wife,v
A YouTuber on Instagram disclosed a conversation between an Ifa priest and a friend where it was stated that the Ooni was simply following tradition and had a deadline to meet.
He’s alleged to have 13 wives before the allotted time is up.
The Ooni’s palace is yet to verify or deny the claim.
