Rev Fr Kelvin Ugwu, a Catholic Missionary Priest, has reacted to the Court of Appeal order on Thursday discharging Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
Fr Kelvin maintained that the release of Kanu indicated that evil politicians would be voted out in the forthcoming elections.
We had reported yesterday that the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal in a unanimous verdict on Thursday acquitted the secessionist of all terrosim charges leveled against him.
He was thereby discharged from the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS. him. The development is currently generating positive reactions from his followers across the country.
Reacting, Fr Kelvin, in a post on his verified Facebook page, said the development justified Kanu’s belief in the current government.
The clergy enjoined Nigerians to keep standing for the truth no matter how long it takes, stressing that falsehood will never prevail. “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is discharged and acquitted. For me, this means one thing, that he is right about this clueless government. “This coming elections, evil men and women will never lead Nigerians again, though they may gather, but in the Name of the Lord, they will scatter. . .in Jesus Name”, he wrote.
