“Many Have Died In The Desert In Their Efforts To Run Away From A Country That Have Weaponized Poverty” – Actor, Prince Eke Says As He Becomes A U.S Citizen
Nigerian Nollywood star, Prince Eke has taken to his social media platform to express his excitement after he finally became a citizen in the United States of America..
In his post, Prince narrated that it was neither by his might nor power but by the grace of God that he has been able to sail through smoothly and successfully with the procedure of becoming a citizen in America.
He explained that many started the journey before he did but their cases are still undecisive. He added that some people also drowned and died at the Mediterranean Sea whiles other died in the desert in their efforts to escape the hardships they have been subjected to by their government.
He also lamented that the government in Nigeria have also weaponized poverty and also normalized insecurity and hunger but to the glory of God, he has gained his permit and now a full citizen in America.
He wrote; Today I truly become an American. I give God all the glory because it’s neither by my power nor by my might . It’s all His Grace ! So many started this journey before me but their cases are still undecided. Some got drowned in the Mediterranean Sea while others died in the deserts all in an effort to run away from a wicked government. A government that has weaponized poverty. Insecurity and hunger is the order of the day . Thank God for His Grace upon me . I HAVE MY PVC . !!!
