Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, submitted a four-man shortlist of players he wanted the club to sign last summer..

It is believed Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford was on the transfer wish list.

Mbappe snubbed Real Madrid to sign a three-year contract extension with PSG.

There has been speculation claiming that Mbappe would hold great sway in the club’s sporting decisions as part of his fresh agreement with the Ligue 1 champions.

PSG recruited six new players over the summer, including midfield quartet Fabian Ruiz, Renato Sanches, Carlos Soler and Vitinha, alongside defender Nordi Mukiele and forward Hugo Ekitike on loan from Reims.

According to RMC Sport, Mbappe requested that PSG sign a new striker who he could play alongside, with United striker Rashford among those who the Frenchman directly referenced.

He also had the name of Robert Lewandowski – who joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich – alongside Barca’s Ousmane Dembele (Mbappe’s France international teammate) and Gianluca Scamacca, who signed for West Ham from Sassuolo.
