“We Are Suffering” – Kano Corps Member Laments After Heavy Rainfall Leaves His Room Flooded (Photos below)

A corps member serving in Kano has shared the deplorable condition of his home after a downpour that left the Kundila area of the state flooded.


Taking to Facebook to share photos of his flooded room on Thursday, August 25, the corps member lamented the living conditions of corps members in Kano.

Sharing the photos, he wrote,

“Corps Members Are Suffering Somewhere In Northwest, Kano to be Precise. This is the Third Time this Flood disaster is Happening. This is my room at our corpers lodge. Come be like say na me Serve Pass”.

In other news, a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who is currently at the orientation camp in Bauchi State, has said she won’t adjust her oversized khaki uniform.

The corp member, identified as Tabitha Akighirga, took to Facebook to share photos of herself in the oversized uniform, and said she won’t spend her money on modifying it but would wear it that way all through her service year.

Sharing the photos, Tabitha wrote,

“Since nysc don turn me to man with big khaki am not going to adjust any thing with my 1k. I will serve my country like this. how do you see.”
