How Kashim Shettima Outsmarted Peter Obi And Atiku With His Dress Code Which People Didn’t Knew Of

When you are a child of grace, even honour will come before you in all your endeavours. The internet was buzzing yesterday as a result of former Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima’s attire at the ongoing NBA conference, in which both the LP presidential candidate and the PDP presidential candidate were in attendance.

In local parlance, my people go say na ONE THING go lead to SOMETHING. This is so true that the dress code of a Vice Presidential candidate has led the world to know the oratory prowess and capability of his personality.

Shettima outperformed himself in his speech, which was hailed as more than presidential; what was supposed to be a kind of humiliation turned out to be an abundance of blessing.

Psalm 23:5

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

Isn’t it odd that a vice presidential candidate could surpass the front-runners of the other major parties? Truth be told, Shettima stole the show with his attire and presentation to the point where people are still unsure if the LP and PDP presidential candidates attended the event. This is what we mean when we talk about grace.

I must sincerely thank Shettima for being unique, which opened the door for people to further investigate his speech and prior accomplishments in greater detail. Indeed, Shettima has demonstrated that consistency pays off; Lagos State is what it is today because successive governments followed the master plan of Lagos as laid out years ago during Tinubu’s administration.

Now consider Borno, a Northern State that is home to Boko Haram, and evaluate its level of development in relation to other States. Which Northern State can boast of the kind of growth Borno has experienced over the past eight years?

If not for the hopelessness that State must have previously experienced, consider what factors contributed to the emergence of Boko Haram in Borno. Apart from Tinubu, Shettima is the only Governor who is at peace with his successor. Shettima began the reconstruction of Borno, and it has continued to this day.

These are issues that need to be addressed; the fact that Cubana Chief Priest wears sneakers on Agbada does not change the fact that he is a celebrity bartender who has done well for himself.

Yesterday, the Golden Boy, as we now refer to Shettima, outwitted Peter Obi and Atiku’s aura.

Imagine a VP candidate taking over the stage where Presidential candidates were present; Shettima’s head is anointed in oil, and his cup overflows.
