The Nigerian Bar Association has sparked reactions after revealing that two of the four leading candidates for Nigeria’ s presidency in 2023 will speak publicly during the next Annual General Conference of the Association, which will take place in Lagos this month.

Atiku Abubakar, the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi, the Labor Party (LP) presidential candidate, who have both confirmed their availability, will participate in a board discussion on the topic of ” Popularity based Transitions in 21st Century Nigeria: 2023 and Beyond. ”

Both Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a contender for the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria People’ s Party (NNPP), received requests, according to a public statement by the NBA’ s Technical Committee on Conference Planning (TCCP), but neither could at the moment confirm their availability.

After the gathering’ s opening ceremony, the TCCP announced that the Presidential Contenders’ Session would provide attendees with a unique opportunity to speak with the official candidates just six months before Nigeria’ s national elections the following year.

The NBA announced that they are happy to announce that two of the four notable official candidates to whom they had offered invitations had agreed to attend the 62nd NBA Annual General Conference, which will be hosted in the Eko Atlantic City in Lagos.
