Antonio Conte Reveals Reason Why He said Son Heung-min would make the perfect husband for his daughter

Antonio Conte has backed Son Heung-min, not just to score more goals but also to marry his daughter, following the forward’s latest failed attempt to score.

Last season Son was the joint top goalscorer in the Premier League, although teammate Dejan Kulusevski did nearly manage to screw it up for him, as the Swede has previously explained.

With a summer of Conte’s pre season, that was absolutely brutal, and further additions to the squad, Son would have been hoping to have an even bigger impact as the team set their eyes on bigger targets than just finishing fourth.

However, despite Spurs own good start to the season, which has brought 10 points from a possible 12 so far, the South Korean hasn’t got into the groove yet.

Following the win over Nottingham Forest, Son has no goals and just one assist, despite playing all but 31 minutes of the league campaign to date.

Conte however isn’t too worried about the forward and has backed him to start scoring again, as well as backing his character, with a ringing endorsement as the kind of person he’d like his daughter to marry.

“Sonny is a really sensible player. He’s really sensible and a top man, a really good guy,” the Italian said following Spurs 2-0 win over Forest on Sunday.

“If I am to give an example, I have to find a husband for my daughter I’d like to be a person like him!

Pep Guardiola’s reaction to Erling Haaland’s hat-trick is incredible

“In this moment maybe he’s suffering a lot that he’s not scoring. But he has to continue in this way and trust himself because in every game he has the opportunity, the chance to score and then he has to be calm. We trust him and the team-mates.

“You know very well the importance of this player with Harry Kane and for sure he’s a bit disappointed that he’s not scoring but no problem. For me, Sonny will always be a nut in my team, in my ambition of football.”
