Red Devils fans have been left purring over Rashford’s goal as they praised boss Erik ten Hag

And it had all the hallmarks of a classic Ten Hag goal from his Ajax days as United seamlessly transitioned from defence to attack.
Goalkeeper David De Gea started off the free-flowing move as he pinged a pass over to Bruno Fernandes near the half-way line.

The Portuguese playmaker then played a one-two with Rashford, with the England international darting away after playing the ball back.

Fernandes then picked out Martial’s run in behind the Eagles at Melbourne Cricket Ground, who took a wonderful touch before passing to Jadon Sancho.

He then returned the ball to Martial, who cut the ball back for Donny Van de Beek on the edge of the six-yard box.

The Dutch midfielder then rolled the ball over to Rashford who had the easy task of slotting the ball home into an empty net.

Supporters were sent into meltdown over the goal, as one user tweeted: “Ten Hag ball bringing tears to my eyes we’re free.”
