“I Have Been Supplying Arms And Ammunition To Terrorists That Have Been Kidnapping People” – Suspect Narrate (Details below)
Operational Outfits of the Force Intelligence Bureau (FIB) of the Nigerian Police have recorded major victory in the fight against terrorism in Nigeria.
This is coming following the arrest of one notorious gunrunner identified as Abdullahi Baka who specializes in supplying illicit arms and ammunition to deadly terrorist in some northern states of Nigeria.
The suspect who was paraded along with other criminals at the Force headquarters in Abuja today, confessed that he used to supply the weapons to terrorists that have been terrorizing northern states like Bauchi, Gombe, and Taraba States.
According to Force Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the suspect’s voluntary confession led to the arrest of other three suspects who are members of a deadly kidnap syndicate operating in and around Gombe and Bauchi States.
Weapons recovered from the suspects include 1 Sub-Machine Gun (SMG), Four AK49 Rifles, four AK47 Rifles, forty-nine rounds of live ammunition, and three AK47 Magazine
