Ace comedian, Owen Gee has opened up about being offered money to mock the voice and political ambition of a particular new 2023 presidential candidate.
Edujandon.com reports that the ace comedian made the revelation on Sunday, June 12 during a Political Twitter space hosted By Chika.
Speaking about why most celebrities sit on the sidelines, Owen Gee stated that celebrities are treading carefully so they don’t fall into the trap of the Department of State Services (DSS).
He further added that he was recently offered a huge sum of money to mock with his jokes the voice of a particular new 2023 presidential candidate, but he would not divulge into such because of the values he holds sacred.
He said, unlike the average Nigerian, celebrities do not have the leverage to say and do certain things on social media.
Meanwhile, Peter Okoye better known as Mr P has declared former Anambra state governor, Peter Obi the most qualified presidential candidate.
Edujandon.com reports that the singer and father of two took to his Instagram page on Saturday to make that assertion.
According to Peter, only one candidate amongst all other aspirants who have made known their intentions to run for the presidential seat in 2023 is overqualified.
He wrote; ‘So far, Only one candidate is overqualified to be Nigeria, Next President’
