Again, Sowore Slams Labour Party Candidate As Peter Obi Is Accused Of Lying About Egypt Trip (Video below)

Controversial media personality, Jackson Ude, has accused Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi of lying about his trip to Egypt.

Obi, on Tuesday, said he was going to the north African country to study their energy-generation system and see how that can be used to help Nigeria overcome its epileptic power supply.

Ude, however, claimed that Obi used Egypt’s energy sector as a cover for the real reason he flew to the country.

“Peter Obi is attending the Annual General Meeting, AGM, of Afreximbank in Cairo, Egypt and not to understudy Egypt’s education, power and finance sectors,” Ude claimed in a tweet on Wednesday morning.

“The Afreximbank AGM is a gathering of the bank’s shareholders to appraise her performance. Peter Obi should not lie to Nigerians.”

African Action Congress (AAC) candidate, Omoyele Sowore, says Ude’s claim justifies his (Sowore’s) recent criticism of Obi.

“We’ve not even gone far! And lies are falling like a pack of cards! It will soon become self-evident to all that the difference between us and them is as clear as daylight,” Sowore said in a social media message.

Sowore had described Obi as a political orphan who failed to pay salaries for months while serving as Anambra governor. But Obi’s fans have advised Sowore to focus on his own campaign and leave their candidate alone.
