Take A Look At The Most Sad Punishment Given To A Thief Who Allegedly Stole A Motorbike (Details below)
People no longer appear to call the Ghana police to come and apprehend thieves after they are caught. They claim that the police service does not punish these thieves cruelly enough, so instant justice appears to be the order of the day. A young man probably between the ages of 18 and 25 years has been recorded on camera desilting a gutter after he was caught stealing a motorbike.
According to the person who recorded the video, this incident took place in East Legon, Greater Accra Region. Watching the video carefully, you can see that this young man has been beaten mercilessly to the extent that his face has swollen. He was then handed a shovel and wheelbarrow to desilt the gutter.
The young man seems to be tired after desilting the gutter for a long time. So he was seen resting a little but the people did not allow him. One guy was overhead in the video saying, “If you don’t continue desilting the gutters we won’t stop the beatings”. The guy was begging the people to have mercy on him but the people said no.
