Hours after Obi’s resignation from PDP became public knowledge, he was seen hobnobbing with NNPP leader, Rabiu Kwankwaso in Abuja.
A poster has even emerged of Obi and Kwankwaso being paired as president and running mate.
The NNPP has not given an official reaction to the political romance between it and Obi.
Obi, in his resignation letter, hinted that he was not leaving PDP to go on a terminal political vacation.
He said he left the party to seek another “route” to rescue Nigeria.
