Former Vice President Of The World Bank Oby Ezekwesili Demands The CBN Governor Resignation With Immediate Effect (Details below)
Former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili has asked the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mr. Godwin Emefiele to resign his position immediately.
Dr. Ezekwesili’s demand is coming on the heels of the CBN Governor’s quest to contest for the office of the president and still holding onto his job at the CBN.
She made this assertion through her post on her very popular twitter account this night with the write-up “The Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria @cenbank must now immediately tender his resignation to stop further destroying whatever little remains of the country’s monetary policy reputation.
Mr. Emefiele should leave immediately- tonight- to pursue his ill-fated political career.
Dr. Ezekwesili’s demand is coming after the CBN Governor bought the N100million presidential form from the All Progressives Congress, APC, which is in bad taste for the economy of the country.
