BREAKING: Massive explosion rocks Christian-dominated school in Sabon Garin Kano, many feared dead (Video)

A massive explosion has rocked Aba Road area of Sabon Gari in Kano, with many people including children feared dead on Tuesday morning..

Buildings were affected in the explosion suspected to be bomb. Many others, including children were injured in the blast.

Details are still sketchy. Videos from social media showed rescuers evacuating injured children.

It is suspected that one of the buildings affected by the blast housed a school as schoolchildren were being rescued from the building, with some of them in blood.

The Kano State Government is yet to issue a statement on the explosion and no group has claimed responsibility for the blast.

Large number of people have gathered at the scene of the incident trying to help the injured people.
