Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has lambasted the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar for deleting his post on social media condemning the killing of Deborah Samuel , a Christian female student at Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto State .
Fani-Kayode Lambast Atiku
Edujandon.com recalls that Atiku had condemned the mob action against Deborah who was beaten and burnt to death by her Muslim colleagues over alleged blasphemous remarks considered to be an insult to Prophet Mohammed.
Less than an hour later, Atiku deleted both posts he made on Facebook and Twitter after northern Islamic fanatics warned him to stay away from condemning Deborah’s murder, threatening to vote against him at the presidential polls.
The vice former president, who is seeking the 2023 presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) later returned to deny making the post himself. In a post shared on his Hausa Facebook page, Atiku said the viral posts earlier on his pages were posted without his consent , stating that any post that does not come with AA is not from him and should be ignored.
Reacting to the development, the ex-minister said the presidential aspirant has murdered Deborah all over again and pissed on her grave, adding that he has also encouraged other sociopaths to come out and commit murder with impunity.
Fani-Kayode further stated that any Nigerian leader that remains silent and refuses to publicly condemn the gruesome murder of Deborah is a coward.
He wrote, “The barbaric slaughter of Deborah, a young, female Christian student in Sokoto by her fellow students who, within minutes, transformed themselves into a rampaging and wild mob of religious bigots and fanatics is totally unacceptable
“The refusal to condemn the killing of Deborah& the withdrawal of an earlier condemnation is worse than the killing itself. By this @Atiku has murdered Deborah all over again & pissed on her grave. He has also encouraged other sociopaths to come out & commit murder with impunity.
“Any so-called leader that remains silent and refuses to publicly condemn the murder of Deborah is a COWARD. I don’t care who or what you are: if you cannot bring yourself to condemn this cold-blooded & horrific murder then you are nothing but a COWARD & I have contempt for you.”
Meanwhile, Atiku Abubakar is currently under heavy backlash on social media after he denied approving a post where he condemned the killing of Deborah Samuel by Islamic fanatics over blasphemy.Follow us on social media:
