2022 UTME: Why withheld results have not been released – JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB on Monday explained why some withheld results have not been released..

Recall that the exam body on Saturday released the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME results.

Candidates were informed to check their result by sending UTMERESULT to 55019 using the same phone number that he/she had used for registration.

Head, Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, in a statement on Saturday had said the result would be returned as a text message.

Speaking on Monday, JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin cited malpractice, misconduct, breach of procedural processes, and incomplete review of the centre as some of the reasons results will not be released.

Benjamin told newsmen that “We have released results for this batch. There are many factors that can lead to a result being withheld. It could be as a result of examination malpractice, the candidate’s inability to conduct himself or herself properly, a breach in procedural process or a review of the centre
