Singer Davido unfollows Wizkid & 2face after they ignored his FIFA World Cup achievement

Nigerian afro-beat singer David Adeleke popularly called Davido, has unfollowed his colleague Wizkid and 2face after failing to celebrate him on his latest achievement with the FIFA World Cup 2022..

Edujandon.com earlier reported that Davido made history and made Nigerians proud as he, alongside Trinidad Cardona and AISHA, sang the 2022 World Cup soundtrack titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together).

Taking to the microblogging platform Twitter, Davido said he is honoured with the feat, adding it is a win for Africa.

Many fans and music lovers storm social media platforms jubilating and praising Davido for making Nigerians proud.

However, his colleagues such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, Olamide, 2face and others failed to congratulate him or put up a social media post celebrating him on the achievement.

Meanwhile, a check on Davido’s Instagram page shows that he is no longer following Wizkid and 2face on the photo and video-sharing app Instagram.

This comes a few days after Davido re-followed Wizkid after many years of beef.

Edujandon.com recalls there was widespread jubilation when Wizkid and Davido squashed their beef for the second time in a nightclub in Lagos on Friday night, 21st January 2022..

Davido and Wizkid who have been at loggerhead for a long time over undisclosed reasons, which many believed were due to fans pitching Wizkid’s achievement against Davido, the duo decided to settle their differences.

The reconciliation sparked mixed reactions online as some fans expressed excitement while others pointed out how they hugged themselves, showing they had been craving for each other for a long time.

2face is still following Davido though.
