SHOCKING: Man Detained For Flogging A Thief To Death In Oyo (Details below)
A young man who is identified as Aliu Oladeji, twenty- nine- year- old reportedly detained in a custodian centre by a Magistrates Court sitting in Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State For engaging in jungle justice resulting to the death of a thief.
According to the news, it was narrated that the appeal of the suspect who lives in Ayedaade area, has not been accepted by Magistrate I. O. Osho who recommended that he be detained in the Abolongo Custodian Centre, Oyo town until further ruling.
News has it that Oladeji was reportedly charged to court on counts of plotting and killing, with the state counsel, Inspector Foluke Adedosu telling the prosecution that he connived with others in the area to carry out the terrible act. .
Meanwhile, It was confirmed that on March 4, about 2. 30am, one Sodiq was reportedly turtured to his grave by the prime suspect and others. The crime is against the Section 316 and punishable under sections 319 and 324 of the Criminal Code Laws of Oyo State 2000.
The judge who ruled that he be detained in a detainment centre on Wednesday April 13, extended the case until July 4, for hearing.

Upon the information gathered by the public relation officer of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the trio simply known as Ugo Obi, Chinonso Jude and Chibuke Samson, staying at MTN street Iju Ota, have been nabbed over a complaint by one Ajibade Gbenga who lodged at Onipanu divisional headquarters that his own son simply identified as Samuel Ajibade has been accused to have carted away two phones by the suspects, resulting the three accused persons gangly flogged him to stupor.
Police PRO said Ajibade briefed the command that the late victim was swiftly taken to general hospital ota for medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival, by the medic on duty.
