Edujandon.com has gathered that Nigerian crossdressers including Bobrisky, James Brown, Jay Boogie among others could end up serving a 6-months jail term as crossdressing is set to be banned in the country..

According to Umar Muda a member of the house proposed a new bill proposed by and the House of Representatives has moved to ban cross-dressing in the country.

The bill was read aloud on the House floor on Tuesday, April 5, and it seeks to frown on cross-dressing, with the exception of persons who do it for amusement purposes.

The bill proposes to alter the 2013 Same-S#x Marriage (Prohibition) Act by inserting cross-dressing as one of the act’s offences. If the bill is passed into law, crossdressers such as Bobrisky, James Brown and others risk six months of imprisonment.

“A person engaging in cross-dressing is guilty of an offence and liable to imprisonment of 6 months or to a fine of N500,000,” the bill reads.
