However, the demand to rotate power has taken a turn, as some people believe that the only way to promote fairness, justice and equity is to make a plea for Igbo’ s presidency. The Igbos have never produced a president since democracy was first established.
However, Comrade Shehu Sani believes that in order to take seriously the call to the rotation of power, Everyone is familiar with the region which has not yet tasted Nigeria’ s most coveted political position.
The Igbos complained about being marginalized and Goodluck Jonathan, President Muhammadu Buhari’ s predecessor is from the South- South region, not the South- East of Nigeria.
Shehu Sani wrote; ” If rotation of power is about the rotation of power, everyone knows where power is yet to rotate to. ”
Rochas Okorocha Is Calling Tinubu ” Uncle” Instead Of Brother- Shehu Sani Says
It has recently been reported that the former governor of the state of Imo, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, called the ex- governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu ” uncle” while reacting to the possibility of being a running mate of Bola Tinubu, ahead of 2023 general election. Rochas Okorocha reportedly said, ” Uncle Tinubu and I are most likely to be.
This particular statement by Rochas Okorocha provoked a lot of Nigerians to react differently. On the basis of this memorandum, the former senator that represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani made it known that Rochas Okorocha is calling Jagaban (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) uncle instead of a brother.
Judging by what Rochas Okorocha said, I’ m not sure there’ s anything wrong with Okorocha calling Uncle Bola Tinubu. However, people do have a right to their personal opinions.
