‘Pilot Wey Dey Fly Plane Na Him Trouble I Dey Find Now’ – Daddy Freeze After Pere Asked Nigerians To Off Their Phone When Pilots Ask Them To
Daddy Freeze has countered an assertion from BBNaija star Pere Egbi after he advised Nigerians about obeying instructions when they travel by commercial planes..
According to the reality star, Nigerians should do well to observe all the rules and regulations as well as the instructions of the flight crew.
He talked about Nigerians disregarding the instruction of turning off all mobile devices during the critical phases of the flight, that is the taking off and landing. He urged them that those texts and calls they make in such critical moments could wait.
He advised them to put their safety first before anything. The US-trained military personnel wrote on the bird app;
”Dear Nigerians, when the flight crew says turn off all mobile devices especially during the critical phases of taking off and landing, TURN IT OFF! Those texts and calls can wait! Safety first! Happy Friday!”
In reaction, Daddy Freeze reacted to Pere’s post saying leaving mobile phones on during critical phases of taking off and landing can cause no harm to the plane. According to him, safety of the plane can’t be tempered while leaving phones on. He called on any pilot who faults his claim to come out to challenge him.
He wrote;
Dear Nigerians, rest your minds, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING a mobile phone can do the equipment of a modern aircraft even if the mobile phone is on a call during landing and taking off. I hereby challenge any pilot to debate this with me. The only reason why you are told to switch off your phones is for security reasons. So someone won’t call from the flight and say there’s a bomb or the plane is about to crash. Knowledge is power.
