“Celebrities Are Supposed To Give Their Fans Money, Not The Other Way Round”-Uche Maduagwu Slams Davido (Video)
Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has taken a swipe at the 3O Billion Gang boss, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido for soliciting funds from his fans and colleagues on social media..
It would be vividly recalled a few days ago that Davido made a tweet by revealing his bank account number and asking his fans on social media to bless him especially, those he has entertained with his hit songs over the years.
What appeared to many as a joke turned into a multi-million-dollar plan when Davido’s friends, followers, and loved ones charged his account with approximately N1 million each.
Davido, who could not contain his joy over his fans’ and loved ones’ generous gestures, took to Instagram to post a list of practically all of Nigeria’s superstars who have deposited large sums of money into his Wema bank account.
Davido was able to raise up to N184 million in less than three days after making the account number public. Well, obviously, some people will express concerns about why one of the wealthiest musicians in Africa will solicit funds from his fans and colleagues on social media.
Uche Maduagwu, an outspoken social media personality has said that Davido has probably gone down financially despite bragging of having 30 billion in his account. He said that as celebrities, they are supposed to be dashing money to their fans and not the other way round.
He called out Davido to spill the beans about being broke in order for more people to donate to him rather than ‘begging’ for money under the pretext of seeing how much he is being loved.
