Paul Pogba clears air on snubbing Solskjaer after Man Utd’s 5-0 loss to Liverpool
Manchester United star, Paul Pogba, has dismissed claims he snubbed his manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, following their Premier League embarrassing 5-0 defeat to Liverpool last weekend..
Reports had claimed that Pogba, who received a red card during the encounter, apologised to his teammates for his mistake but did not speak to Solskjaer in the dressing room.
Reacting to the development, Pogba, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Wednesday, described the report as big lies.
The France international posted a screenshot of the article on Twitter with the caption “big lies to make headlines”.
In a more detailed response on Instagram his Instagram story, Pogba wrote: “Tabloid press once again wants to create polemic with 100 per cent fake news.
“Big lies to make headlines. Journalists who use my name to be seen when there is nothing to see.
“The only reason I address this b.s is out of respect to my coach, club and fans to send a clear message: the less you read these people the better you are, they have no shame and will say just anything with no basis AT ALL.”
Pogba will now hope to lead Man United to victory when they take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this weekend
