BREAKING: Plateau speaker Abok Nuhu Ayuba removed

Abok Nuhu Ayuba, speaker Plateau State House of Assembly has been removed following a vote of no confidence by 18 members..

Members made the move today at plenary and immediately elected Yakubu Sanda as the new speaker.


Sanda represents the Pengana constituency.

Ayuba had served as speaker since 10 June 2019. He was then, 33 and a 500 level law student at the University of Jos.
