‘He Was Insecure, Doubted Paternity Of Last Child But The First Child Ended Up Shocking Him’ – OAP Nedu’s Ex-Wife (Video)
Uzoamaka Ohiri, estranged wife of comedian and broadcaster, Nedu says her former husband’s insecurity led him to doubting the paternity of their children, especially their last child..
She however expressed that she didn’t intentionally pass off another man’s child as Nedu’s own.
Uzoamaka made the statement during a tell-it-all interview with GoldMyne on Tuesday, September 7.
It would be recalled that Uzoamaka last Friday called out Nedu, born Chinedu Abi Emmanuel, for allegedly physically abusing her and being a bad father to his children.
She accused him of beating her few days after she had just been delivered of a baby through cesarean surgery.
However, the radio personality denied the allegation of domestic violence but stated that their marriage which began in 2013 but crashed in 2018, was filled with lots of issues and infidelity on her part.

He said he was forced to carry out a paternity test on all three children they had at the time and that the test showed he isn’t the biological father of their first son, even though he was born while they were still married.
As proof of his claim, Nedu posted a DNA test result which was signed by one Dr. Harvey Tenenbaum, president at Viaguard Accu-metrics, Ontario, Canada on June 24, 2019.
The document stated that the possibility of Nedu being the father of the child in question was zero per cent.
Responding, Uzoma in turn accused Nedu of bigamy, marrying another spouse while still married, adding he has failed to cater for their two children.
However, Uzoma did not deny the allegation of having another child while married to the OAP.
Now speaking with GoldMyne on Tuesday over the controversy trailing the paternity of her firstborn, Uzoamaka declared that she was never unfaithful during her brief marriage to Nedu.
The mother of 3 explained that she wasn’t aware she was pregnant for her former boyfriend before starting a relationship with Nedu.
She expressed;
I did not cheat on him from the first day he walked into my life till he left. I was never with any man. I can swear on it. Before I met Nedu, I was seeing somebody; I was in a relationship- he was on the side, disturbing me.
There was a couple of times he had invited me to Lagos and this was my service year in 2021. He had invited me to Lagos a couple of times and I turned it down. When the three years relationship ended, I said, ‘Okay fine, let me see this guy fine’. We met and he seemed like a cool person and I said let me give it a try and we started from there.
Uzoamaka further stated;
Along the line, I found out that I was pregnant. Trust me, if I knew that my first child was not for him, if I knew, I wouldn’t have, I can’t deliberately pick another man’s child and give to another man. If I knew, I wouldn’t have gotten married to him. On my wedding day, I was pregnant, everybody saw it.
Speaking further, the mother of 3 said the OAP was very insecure so he did paternity test for the last child but the first child’s DNA result ended up shocking him.
She said that their marriage was plagued with domestic violence but that it was not the DNA test report that led to their eventual divorce, as some people believe.
Uzoamaka alleged that her ex-husband does not know the last child of the marriage, a four-year-old girl, because, she said, he walked out of the marriage a few days after the child was born.
She then expressed that she is speaking up about the entire situation now because she can no longer cope with taking care of the children’s needs single-handed without their dad’s support.
