#BBNaija: Your twist shows our votes don’t count – viewers chides organizers, Questions credibility of show
‘We earned fifth spot’ – Pere’s management disagrees with organisers
Management of Big Brother Naija, BBNaija Season 6 housemate, Pere has disagreed with the organiser of the reality show about the latest twist..
The latest twist in the show has Pere and Angel playing a game to determine their spot in the final week.
Nini, Saga and Queen’s evictions leave Whitemoney, Emmanuel, Cross and Liquorose as the final four housemates.
The fate of the fifth housemate is to be determined by the result of the game played between Angel and Pere.
However, this appears controversial as Pere scored more votes than Angel.
Pere secured 25.31% votes while Angel had 14.63%
Reacting to the development, Pere’s management opined that the choice of voters should not be sacrificed by the outcome of the game.
On his official Twitter page, the management wrote: “No matter the outcome of this game, we own that 5th spot!!
“It’s the will and choice of the voters that sacrificed tirelessly all week. We earned it.
Your twist shows our votes don’t count – Actor, Freddie chides organizers
Nollywood actor, Freddie Leonard has Lashed out on the organizers of the Big Brother Naija show over the twist they introduced in the game.
The latest twist in the show has Pere and Angel playing a game to determine their spot in the final week.
Nini, Saga and Queen’s eviction leaves Whitemoney, Emmanuel, Cross and Liquorose as the final four housemates.
The fate of the fifth housemate is to be determined by the result of the game played between Angel and Pere.
This, however, didn’t seem fair as Pere scored more votes than Angel.
Pere secured 25.31% votes while Angel had 14.63%
Reacting, the actor in a post via his Instagram account opined that the new development clearly shows that there’s no difference between the show and Nigerian politics.
He further noted that people went through a lot to make sure they voted because they thought their votes would count, and they must count.
“What is the difference between this and Nigerian politics?
“Why ask people to vote If their votes won’t count?
“Dear organizers of BBN listen, people went out of their way to put in work and vote because you made them believe that their votes count.
“Better do the right thing let the winner on votes go back into the house as a finalist, so you don’t discredit a show that has the backing and viewership support of millions across the continent of Africa.
“This white room twist is clearly baseless and unnecessary. Even If Pere wins the puzzle, it will be unfair to him to go through the heart palpitating route with another housemate who already lost on vote,” he wrote..
I’m not a fan of Pere-

But the truth needs to be said.
What Big Brother did to Pere tonight is absolute nonsense.
Why make fans vote heavily if those votes will be meaningless?
Whatever the outcome- this twist is unfair to Pere and it’s a total shame on the Big Brother brand.
How do you explain that Pere did not make it to Top 5 despite leading Angel in the votes?? This game by Big Brother is bullshit.

Pere earned his stay in the house. He should be out here chilling and celebrating his qualification for the final. Twists are great but they shouldn’t come at the expense of fairness. Except those percentages don’t matter anymore which means all evicted housemates should return.

You control narratives, you paint some housemates badly, you script the game and show viewers what you want them to see. You also rig the show to favor any housemate you like. Now it’s a game of taxi. 😂😂😂 #Bbnaija is a scam. Say no to top 6. Only top 5 and Pere should be in.
— TobOG (@Debo2hit) September 26, 2021
If #pere loses tonight the reputation of this show will be question.

If you didn't want him on the show after completing the wildcard task you would have evicted him❗#BBNaija #Pere#BBNaijaSeason6 pic.twitter.com/pxRsBR9cLi
You said viewers should decide with votes.we have voted Pere. Now what is this you are doing? Or is casting vote now like playing Hoh game? Im just tired of this injustice towards Pere #BBNaija

The game Biggie wants Angel, Pere to play is nonsense
Big Brother Nigeria is into its final week.
And at no point during the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ did the reality show meet expectations.
Possibly, the highest point of this season, was when the male housemates were brought in 24 hours before the females.
The guys almost stained the innovation with the prank they played. And although they ended it rather shabbily, well, we will take it.
Everything else in the last six weeks or so have been bland. The contestants lack personality and star quality. The games were dry and forced. The triple eviction was desperate. The twists and drama almost made one scratch their eye out.
If we thought the excitement was going to be ramped up in the final weeks, well, we should have known better.
On Sunday, Nini, Saga and Queen were sent home. However, we do not know the finalists yet, except for Emmanuel, Cross and Liquorose.
And the reason is comical. Somehow, Pere has to play a game with Angel to decide who makes it to the finale. This is Biggie completely disregarding public votes that showed clearly that Pere had 10% more than Angel.
So imagine Pere leaving the show because of a silly game. What is then the entire point? Why should viewers bother next week? We could instead sit back and watch the organizers pull off another lazy, hare-brained stunt.
Not as if we care. WhiteMoney will likely walk away with the N90million worth of prizes. We already knew that from Week 1 or 2.
But, by God, what a forgettable endeavour this has been!
