Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has put up at least six players for sale ahead of the 2020/2021 season..

The Gunners are undergoing a squad overhaul, after finishing in eighth place for two consecutive campaigns.

Arteta’s men will also not play in Europe for the first time in 25 years.

Ben White has arrived from Brighton, along with Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi from Benfica and Anderlecht respectively.

While Arsenal have gone big in the market so far, their transfer business is not yet done, as Arteta wants to add a new goalkeeper and fill the creative midfield void left by Martin Odegaard, who has been retained by parent club Real Madrid.

However, before any extra new signings are unveiled at the Emirates, he will need to free up more space in their squad.

The Daily Express says the Gunners have transfer listed six first team stars as they look to generate more transfer funds.

They are Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson and Willian.

Arsenal lost 2-1 to Chelsea in a pre-season friendly on Sunday, with the hosts giving away cheap goals.

This has led to Arteta more than determine to shape up his team ahead of their league opener against Brentford
