Lukaku scores the opener and shares his support for his Inter teammate Eriksen
Romelu Lukaku showed his class in more than one sense as he sent a lovely message to Christian Eriksen after scoring for Belgium at Euro 2020..
The striker took advantage of some sloppy defending and slotted the Red Devils in front against Russia in St Petersburg.
Lukaku slotted the ball home to put Belgium 1-0 up against Russia on ten minutes
But what Lukaku did after was even better as he wished Inter Milan teammate Eriksen well.
“Chris, Chris… I love you!” he said to the camera.

This was in reference to a horror incident during Denmark’s clash against Finland, which was briefly postponed after Eriksen collapsed on the pitch.
Thankfully, Eriksen is in a stable condition and is beginning his recovery.
The Belgians are in control with Thomas Meunier doubling their lead on 34 minutes – the defender with a simple tap-in after Russia goalkeeper Anton Shunin palmed the ball straight into his path.
