‘Common Sense Is Not Common Anymore’ – Yemi Alade reacts as FG weep over deleted Buhari’s tweet
Nigerian musician, Yemi Alade has asserted that common sense is not common anymore in Nigeria.
This comes after she indicated that with all the things happening in Nigeria, Nigerians on Twitter saw the need to make a tweet made by President Buhari that was deleted.
The tweet was deleted by Twitter because the President threatened to punish pro-Biafra groups blamed for escalating attacks on government and security authorities.
The tweet made by the president reads;
“Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Biafra war. Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.
I think we have given them enough latitude. They have made their case, they just wanted to destroy the country. Whoever wanted diversion or destruction of the system at this point, I think will soon have the shock of their lives.”
After the post was deleted, Nigerians made it a subject of discussion and it is from this that Yemi made her post.
The renowned and talented musician made this known in a recent post she made on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.
The post she made reads;.
“Commonsense is not common anymore, Nigerians are being killed, so much insecurity in the country but some people are very worried about ” a tweet that was deleted “. Issokay o …. I just dey waka pass O.”
The post got some reactions and some of these reactions are;
@swazytimy – Imaging celebrities like you lending their voices to the uprisings in this present Nigeria ……We your fans will speak up too and boom! Federal Govt. Will feel the heat once and for all! But instead, everyone kept mute and the sufferings goes on! Remember, #ThisIsNot1967
