UNBELIEVABLE: Gunmen Suspected To Be IPOB Member Allegedly Kill 2 Police Officers, Burn Police Station (Details below)
Reports say terrorists killed two policemen during the attack. Attacks on government offices continue in southeastern Nigeria. Suspected members of the Indigenous People’ s Organization of Biafra (IPOB) have killed two officers and set fire to a police station in Abia State.
The Apumiri Ubakala Police Station in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State was attacked early Monday morning. The affected office is located in the popular Ubakala market.
A police official told a reporter that prior to the incident, the police had received intelligence of an impending attack and had been advised to close the office or strengthen security but not do not.
This is the latest attack on government institutions in southeastern Nigeria. A police station in Enugu State was attacked recently.
A few days ago, the Bende Police Station in Abia State was razed to the ground. The incident took place shortly after the attack on the Uzuakoli Police Station, where dynamite and rockets were used to set fire to the local police station.
The Ubani Market police station was attacked a week ago during a raid on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia last night.
In another report, Gunmen Did Not Rape Our Children, Killed Their Man For Our Children. The parents of the released Afaka students have denied rumors that their children have been s*xually abused.
Similarly they said that people should dismiss the rumors because it is a lie. They also stated that they were more focused on rehabilitating their children whom God had restored to them.
The parents of the abducted students of the Federal College of Agriculture and Forestry have dismissed claims that their children were raped and s*xually abused during the 56 days they were abducted by gunmen.
Recall that on March 11, 2021, gunmen stormed the Afaka College on Kaduna Airport Road and abducted 39 students. The parents said none of their children (students) had been s*xually assaulted by the gunmen. The gunmen demanded a ransom of N500m before releasing them.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the Parents Association, Mallam Abdullahi Usman in Kaduna on Sunday, in Reuben Abati’ s report. The statement said, ” We have made it clear that none of the 37 abducted (now released) Afaka students have been s*xually assaulted or homos*xual.
“To be sure, the students claimed that’ he didn’ t even really try it; he was just fighting, but he was still killed and we were required to take his body and throw it in a nearby forest because they said he did not deserve to be properly buried. ” As the parents of the released students, our main focus now is to rehabilitate our children whom God has brought back to life and surprisingly they have not been harmed.
